Montgomery School featured in Environmetal Digest

Brook Trout Life Cycle Posters Now Available

  • January 11, 2012 -- PA TIC program is now offering brook trout life cycle posters. Poster can be viewed by going to "Curriculum Connections", under Classroom Resources or by clicking here.  If you are interested in obtaining a poster for your classroom please contact Amidea at adaniel@pa.gov.  

 

TIC Grant Round Open

  • December 19, 2011-- The TIC Grant round is now open for the 2012-2013 school year. PATU will again be offering Start-up and Existing program grants. For more information or to apply click here.

 

Brook Trout Egg Taking

  • September 20, 2011-- It is that time of year again when the Benner Spring Hatchery is hard at work getting your TIC eggs ready! Learn more about the hatchery and the process of egg taking here!


Eggs Are In The Mail

  • November 1, 2011-- Eggs are in the mail!! Volunteers and Benner Spring Hatchery employees spent three hours packaging eggs and food for TIC classrooms. The eyed eggs should be arriving at school doorsteps no later than Thursday November 4th! UPDATE: Eggs to Sac Fry

  • November 12, 2011-- Hopefully your eggs arrived safely in the mail and they have successfully reached the Sac Fry stage in their life cycle! This year we have noticed the Trout in the Office fish developing at a faster rate then usual, please keep this in mind. Click here for more Sac Fry updates!
